Deleting your Homegrown account

How to permanently delete your vendor or shopper account and what happens to your data.

If you want to permanently delete your account, you can do that from your account settings. Deletion is different from canceling a subscription — canceling stops billing but preserves your store and history; deletion permanently removes your account.

Vendor account deletion

Before you can delete a vendor account, you need to cancel any active subscription. See Can I cancel my subscription?

Once your subscription is canceled:

  1. Sign in to your vendor dashboard

  2. Open Account → Settings

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete account

  4. Confirm the deletion in the prompt

Your storefront URL will return a "store not found" page within a few minutes. Customer order history is retained for legal record-keeping for the period required by law, then permanently removed.

Shopper account deletion

Shoppers can delete their account from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Past order receipts remain accessible to the vendors you ordered from for their record-keeping; your personal information is removed from your shopper profile and from any saved payment methods.

Just want to pause, not delete?

If you're stepping away temporarily but might come back, canceling your subscription is the better path. Your store stays intact (products, photos, settings, customer relationships) and you can reactivate any time by re-subscribing — no need to rebuild from scratch.

Trouble deleting

If your delete attempt fails — for example, the button doesn't respond or you get an error — message support with your account email. We can verify the state of your account and process the deletion manually.
