Add products and manage your inventory

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Welcome to your Products Tab, the place where you can easily manage everything you sell! Here, you’ll find three sections to keep things organized:

  • Published – Products that are live and available for shoppers to purchase.

  • Draft – Products you're still working on and haven’t published yet.

  • Archived – Products that are no longer available (these can’t be unarchived).

Adding a Product

Adding a new product is simple! Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Products Tab.

  2. Click "Add a Product" (either in the center of the Published or Draft page, or in the top-right corner).

  3. Fill out the Create a Product form:

    • Name (Required) – Give your product a clear and catchy name.

    • SKU – Optional, but helpful if you need to track specific items.

    • Product Category (Required) – Select the best match from the dropdown list (there’s no "Other" option).

    • Description – Tell shoppers all about your product!

    • Variants – If your product has options like size, scent, or color, enable variants.

    • Pricing (Required) – Set the price for your product.

    • Inventory Tracking – Switch this on if you want to keep track of stock levels (more on this below!).

    • Images – Upload high-quality photos to showcase your product.

  4. Choose how you want to save your product:

    • Click "Save and Publish" to make it live in your store.

    • Click "Save as Draft" if you’re not ready to list it just yet.

Managing Your Products

Once your product is published, you can manage it anytime:

  • Find it in the Published Tab.

  • Click on the product to open its Item Page, where you can:

    • Edit – Click the pencil icon to update details.

    • Unpublish or Archive – Click the three dots menu for these options.

    • Remember: Archived products can’t be restored, but you can always add a new version if needed!

Tracking Inventory

If you enabled Inventory Tracking, your stock levels will update automatically as orders come in! The Inventory Tab helps you keep an eye on your product availability at a glance and lets Shoppers know what's available, too:

  • In Stock – Plenty available for shoppers.

  • Low Stock – Running low, so you may want to restock soon.

  • Out of Stock – Not available for purchase until you restock.

With the Inventory Tab, you can manage quantities effortlessly and make sure your customers always know what’s available.

Now that you know how to add and manage products, you’re all set to keep your store running smoothly. Happy selling!
