Homegrown is an online vendor storefront where you can sell your products online for pickup at a booth at your local farmer's market or at whatever location you choose across the United States. Homegrown offers a virtual storefront, you provide the physical vendor space.
All transactions on Homegrown are local pickup only - the platform does not support shipping or delivery of products at this time.
To get started on Homegrown, first, you'll need to create your user account. Clicking the Start for Free button at findhomegrown.com/signup will get you started on your way to becoming a Homegrown Vendor. If you haven't created a user account yet, there is more information about new account creation on this page.
If you are already a Homegrown Shopper you can become a vendor by logging in and clicking the View Plans link in My Account.
Once you have created a user account you can also sign up as a Vendor.
Click Start for Free from the website. This will open the Vendor Sign up Page.
Start by entering the basics about your business. What you'll enter:
Business Name – This is the public name customers will see.
Overview – A short summary of what you sell.
Story (Optional) – Share what makes your business special! Talk about your values, your products, or anything else you'd like customers to know. Click Continue – This opens the Business tab on the Vendor Profile Page.
Complete your business profile details so we can verify your account. What you'll enter:
Legal Business Name
Business Type (e.g. Sole Proprietorship, LLC)
Tax Info – Choose between SSN or EIN and enter the number.
Phone Number
Business Mailing Address – Include your full street address, city/state, and ZIP. Click Save Changes when you're done.
Payment Information - Required to activate your store and begin selling.
Once these steps are complete, your vendor profile will be created and ready for products, locations, and more. Need help with the next steps? Important Sales Policy: Homegrown operates on a local pickup only model. All products must be available for customer pickup at a designated local location such as a farmers market, farm stand, or another predetermined site. Currently, Homegrown does not support shipping or delivery of products.
