📲 Step 1: Download the Homegrown Vendor App
To get started, download the Homegrown Vendor app on your mobile device:

Get it on Google Play
The app works on both iOS and Android.
🔐 Step 2: Create or Log In to Your Account
You can sign up using:
Email and password
Google
Apple
Facebook
Already have an account? Log in with your existing credentials.
Forgot your password? Tap “Forgot password?” on the login screen to reset it.
🏪 Step 3: Set Up Your Storefront
Start with a few basics:
Store Name
This is what customers will see in your shop.
Store Image
Add a photo to help your storefront stand out. You can skip this for now and upload it later.
🛒 Step 4: Add Your First Product
A strong first product sets the tone for your store. You'll enter:
Product name and description – Be clear and highlight what makes it special.
Product image – A good photo goes a long way.
Variants (optional) – Add options like size, flavor, or color with their own prices.
Categories and attributes – These tags help your product get discovered.
Pricing – Set a base price or prices for each variant.
Preparation time – Let customers know how long it takes to have the product ready.
🚚 Step 5: Choose How You’ll Sell
You can offer one, two, or all three fulfillment options—it’s your choice!
🏠 Local Pickup
Let customers pick up from your farm stand, pop-up, or home.
Enter your pickup location
Set the days and hours you’re available
🏪 Market Pickup
Let customers collect orders at a local farmers market.
Search for your market by name
Select it and review the existing schedule
If it’s missing, suggest a schedule:
Pick the months, weeks, days, and hours the market operates
🚗 Delivery
You bring the product to your customers—without platform fees.
Enter your starting address (used privately to calculate your delivery radius)
Set your delivery radius
Define a minimum order amount
Add your delivery fee
Choose your delivery days
Set a daily delivery limit
🧪 Step 6: Start Your Free Trial
Tap Get Vendor Pass to activate your free trial.
You’ll also be prompted to:
Add a payment method (to keep your store live after the trial)
Cancel anytime—no commitment required
🔒 Step 7: Verify Your Identity
Homegrown uses Plaid to securely verify vendors. This step helps:
Prevent fraud
Build customer trust
Ensure reliable payouts
