Overview
Your Ledger is your financial hub on Homegrown. It displays every transaction tied to your account—from order payments and fees to reserves and payouts—giving you full visibility into your earnings and cash flow. This guide walks you through what you’ll see and how to interpret each section of your ledger.
Where to Find Your Ledger
Go to My Account → Finances or the Finances menu option from your Vendor Dashboard
Select the Transactions tab to view your full ledger.
You’ll see two balances at the top and a list of your most recent transactions.
Your Balances Explained
Balance Type | What It Means |
Reserve Balance | Funds held temporarily (20% of each order) for 30 days to protect against refunds/disputes. |
Available Balance | Funds available for your next payout, minus reserves and pending transactions. |
💡 Fun Fact: The Reserve Balance helps reduce risk for vendors—after 30 days, these funds are automatically released and added to your available balance!
Reading Your Transactions
Each transaction shows:
Date
Type (e.g., Fee, Sale, Tax, Subscription, Reserve)
Description (e.g., “Order #106 Sales Tax” or “Payout Fee”)
Amount
Positive amounts increase your balance (e.g., payments, releases).
Negative amounts reduce your balance (e.g., fees, refunds, tax deductions).
🔍 Pending Transactions are marked with a “Pending” label and do not count toward your available balance until finalized.
Linking Transactions to Orders
Most transactions related to sales, fees, taxes, and reserves are linked to specific orders.
Click the order reference in the Description to view full order details.
Important Notes
Transactions are shown in newest to oldest order.
There is currently no search or filter option, but all recent activity is easy to scroll through.
You cannot yet export your ledger or generate reports (coming in the future).
🚀 Pro Tip: Want to know when your reserve will be released? Just check the release date listed on each reserve transaction!
