Prep time is how much notice you need between an order coming in and that order being ready. It decides the earliest date a shopper can choose. Set it to one day and shoppers can't book same-day; set it to three and the first option is three days out.
How to change it
Go to your Vendor Dashboard. If you only see the shopper view, tap your profile icon in the top right and choose Vendor Dashboard.
Open Locations.
Tap Manage location on the location you want to change.
Tap the pencil icon at the top right of the page title.
Scroll to Fulfillment and set Days, Hours and Minutes.
Tap Save prep time.
The location page will show the new value under Fulfillment.
It works on every location type
Market locations, standalone pickup spots and delivery areas all have the pencil icon. Market locations used to be missing it, which meant deleting and rebuilding the location to change prep time. That's fixed — edit it in place.
Rules and limits
Prep time is per location, not per store. If you sell at three markets you can set three different values.
The minimum is five minutes.
Orders already placed keep their scheduled date. A new prep time only affects dates shoppers choose from here on.
On a market location you can change prep time, but the market operator owns the address, hours and dates.
Need different prep times for different products? That isn't something you can set today — prep time applies to the whole location. Tell us if you need it by clicking the Help icon.
