Need a day off, like Thanksgiving or a market you can't make? Block just that date. Shoppers stop seeing it, and every other date on your schedule stays open. You don't need to change your weekly hours or pause your store.
Block a date at a pickup spot
In your Vendor Dashboard, open Locations.
Find the pickup spot and click Manage location.
On the Schedule card, tap the date on the calendar.
Tap Block this date.
The date turns grey on the calendar and shows up in the Blocked dates list underneath, marked "Shoppers don't see this date". Changed your mind? Tap Unblock on that row and the date is open again right away.
Skip a market day
At a market, the market still runs that day. You're just not there. Open the market under Locations, click Manage location, tap the date, and tap Skip this market day. It shows up in the Market days you're skipping list. To go back, tap Attend again.
Delivery areas
Delivery areas have the same calendar. Open Locations, click Manage delivery area, tap a delivery day under Upcoming delivery dates, and tap Block this date.
If someone already ordered for that date
You can't block a date that already has orders on it. Homegrown shows you which orders are on that date instead. Move those orders to another date or cancel them, then come back and block the date.
Good to know
One date at a time, one location at a time. Blocking a date at your farm stand doesn't block it at your market. If you need the same day off at both, block it at each one.
No date ranges yet. For a week off, block each date in that week.
Shoppers just don't see the date. It's not offered on your store page or at checkout. They aren't sent a message about it.
Block every date and the location goes quiet. If every date in a location's ordering window is blocked, shoppers stop seeing that location until you unblock a date. Homegrown shows you a note when that happens.
Your weekly hours don't change. To change which days you're open every week, edit the location's hours instead.
Stepping away for longer? If you need weeks or months off, you can pause your subscription instead.
